SELF-DEFENSE BOOKLET
In each kit there will be a book on basic self-defense moves. The purpose of this book is to teach girls simple defense mechanisms so the girls feel more confident and empowered because they can defend their body.
The book will be filled with diagrams on each move with simple and easy sentences for girls who may be learning to read. The book will be in multiple languages suited for Nairobi; English, Kiswahili, French and Somali.
EDUCATIONAL BROCHURE
Along with the book of defense mechanisms there will be a pamphlet on the issue of sexual abuse, tips on how not to be a victim and to always be aware and how to be involved in the issue.
This brochure will include:

Statistics on sexual abuse.

Information on what abusers will look for in a victim.

How to always be aware and safe.

How to become involved in the issue of sexual abuse.

How it affects your body and mind.

How you should always speak up and report to officials if you have ever been raped.

RAPE WHISTLE
In each box there will be a plastic rape whistle.
With each whistle will come instructions on:

How to use it.

What you should do if you hear the whistle of another person.
PEPPER SPRAY
Each box will be equiped with a pocket sized bottle of pepper spray/mace.
With the mace will be instructions on:

how to use it

the affect of it
-
what to do after applying it to your attacker
CONDOMS
Condoms are important in keeping the girl safe form STDs and HIV/AIDS
If unable to get away from a male atacker and the man is unwilling to put on a condom, girls may have the chance to put in a female condom to protect themselves from STDs and HIV/AIDS.
In each package there will be 1-2 condoms for each sex.
